temple monsalvo: oh my dear, sweet, precious grandpa. How i miss you so. Your voice, the smell of your breath, your hands and all your funny sayings will remain in my memory forever. Yes, you were a man of few words but when you spoke, I listened. Even if we were just sitting on the couch watching a dodger game or a country western movie, i wasnt paying attention to either one. I only wanted to be next to you, I only wanted to feel your warm presence. I know ive told you i loved you but i wish i would have told you more. I wish i would have thanked you more and told you how much you truly meant to me. I remember you getting mad at me for running the phone bill up when i was a teenager as if it was yesterday. Im sorry for that :( Thank you grandpa for sacrificing so much for my mom and her 6 kids. Thank you for letting us live with you. You never complained once. ( now that im an adult, i think i would have. lol) You made me feel so safe as a little girl. I knew that when i was with you and grandma i was safe and loved. I LOVE YOU GRANDPA, OH GRANDPA, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! You were my rock and savior as a child. How can i ever thank you enough? I will love grandma and auntie vicky for you as much as i humanly possibly can, I will visit them as much as i can so they wont be lonley, I will take care of them with all the love in my heart for you. i know i will see your precious face again but I still want you here. Im being selfish gramps, I know you are with our lord and you are happy again. I can see you when i close my eyes, galloping on your horse in heaven. I see you smiling, I see you happy.............i love you gramps.
